super fishall
The band's second album release, including our smash singles - Double Standards and I Wanna Be Grant Brown.

1. My Life On The Footpath
Vocals: Artie Fishall
We see it all the time - the local council's "hard rubbish" collection. People leave all manner of trash and treasure out the front of their homes. Are they simply getting rid of excess stuff or is there something more meaningful in this ritual?
Clearly underlining the premise that "one man's trash is another man's treasure" is the conga line of cars and trailers cruising the streets after dark, working their way through My Life On The Footpath.

2. Double Standards
Vocals: Artie Fishall
This song was written in response to two announcements made on consecutive days by one of Australia's domestic airlines. On day one, the airline stopped a mother from expressing breast milk in their domestic lounge because it apparently offended other passengers. On day two, the same airline announced that dogs can travel with their owner in the seats on the plane.
The band thinks that the airline should take a good look at itself for displaying what we think are double standards.

3. Anarchy In The Melbourne CBD
Vocals: Al O'Mentry
As we wrote this song, Melbourne, the capital of the state of Victoria (Australia) was under siege from protesters of all persuasions, clogging up the city streets and, disturbingly, hurling rocks and bricks at police and their horses.
With a tip of the hat to the Sex Pistols and their song "Anarchy in The UK", Artie and the band decided to unleash our secret punk performer, Al O'Mentry on this track

4. Nemo Vincet Is A Loser
Vocals: Artie Fishall
We were listening to the radio one day and, in the context of betting on racehorses, heard the Latin phrase nemo vincet which translates to English as "No one will win".
We thought that Nemo Vincet sounded more like the name of a shady character, the kind of bloke you would find lurking in the shadows of a dodgy country racetrack, a real loser.
And so, bring those two concepts together, we agreed that Nemo Vincet IS a loser!

5. Bugger Off
Vocals: Artie Fishall
We've all been there - we've been travelling for days, maybe weeks, and you get back to your home airport, waiting for your bags to arrive on the carousel. You've done 99.99% of your travelling - you just need to get home.
And then it happens - a shady bloke sidles up to you and tells you that he can get you home safely and he is cheaper than a taxi. In fact, he looks a bit like Nemo (see above - track 4).
Sorry, mate. Bugger off.

6. Geriatrics In Jacuzzis
Vocals: Artie Fishall
This one was inspired by two very different television shows - Bananas In Pyjamas and any one of several programs of a newish genre, the more "mature" (in age more so than proper maturity) versions of shows like The Bachelor, Love Island, etc.
It seems that the vast majority of these shows are set in jacuzzis in flash resorts and involve a lot of older folk who look like they have asked their granddaughter to administer their fake tan.
We're Geriatrics in Jacuzzis, we're coming down the stairs, etc.

7. I Spat Gum
Vocals: Al O'Mentry
Now we recognise that this is something that Artie, Al and Sammy would appreciate more than Lucy and Indie so ... to our female fans, please bear with us.
Is there anything more unhygienic, revolting, and frankly, selfish, than a bloke who spits his used chewy in the urinal at the pub, at the footy, at work or indeed anywhere where someone else is going to have to come along and remove it.
Come on gentlemen, you're better than that!

8. Clinkers In Clarinda
Vocals: Artie Fishall
In mid-to-late 2025, a craze took off on a digital platform called TikTok called the Clinkers Challenge. Given that we obviously belong amongst the elite when it comes to digital platforms, it must say something about the challenge, if we haven't been featured ... but we digress.
The upshot is that there was a run on bags of Clinkers (a chocolate-coated lolly, sold in bags) and, consequently, there were literally no Clinkers to be found. We thought we'd have some fun with a shortage of other lollies in other places, too!

9. The Day My Thongs Melted In Richmond
Vocals: Artie Fishall
Inspired by a true story but one that I think most Australians can relate to, the bloke involved in the lyrics of the song headed out on a hot Melbourne day, wearing thongs (flip-flops for the uneducated) to walk along Swan Street, Richmond, an inner suburb of Melbourne.
Of course, this is fraught with danger as our man found out. Hot footpaths and rubber footwear is a combination that is an absolute disaster waiting to happen.

10. Happy Fathers Day
Vocals: Artie Fishall
It was in the days leading up to Fathers Day this year when one of the DJs we know asked us what we could do about creating a Fathers Day song. It seems that every second song is a celebration of motherhood - as it most assuredly should be - but can't we have a few about dads?
There is a famous one by Aussie band, Weddings Parties Anything but that's a really sad song. Our version is a gentle dig at the lack of dads' songs - Happy Fathers Day everyone!

11. Country Footy
Vocals: Artie Fishall
Is there anything better to do than to head off to a game of Aussie Rules footy at a country ground somewhere. Hot pies. Steaming dim sims. If you are lucky, Davo will be making his renowned burgers on the barbie, just outside the umpires changing rooms.
We wanted to celebrate country footy, especially in our home state of Victoria. Get along to your favourite club, maybe buy a membership if you can afford it and support the club any way you can.

12. I Wanna Be Grant Brown
Vocals: Artie Fishall
This song was written in response to a news story that was reported in Melbourne on the morning of 13 October 2025.
Hawthorn (a suburb of Melbourne) resident, Grant Brown, chased a home intruder through the nearby streets wearing just a pair of red undies. When he caught the intruder, he made him call the police, using his own mobile phone. What a man!
Every man in Australia wanted to be Grant Brown - even Artie Fishall!
